End User License Agreement (EULA) / Terms of Service

Welcome to Shop Society.

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement,” “Terms,” or “EULA”) is a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Shop Society App (“Shop Society,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By creating an account or using Shop Society, you agree to these Terms.

1.⁠ ⁠Overview of the Platform
 
Shop Society is a social commerce platform that allows:
• Shops to list and sell products
• Reps to promote products and earn incentives or commissions
• Customers to discover and purchase products
 
⚠️ Important:
Shop Society is not the seller of products.
We act solely as a platform connecting users.
 
 
2.⁠ ⁠Eligibility
 
You must:
• Be at least 18 years old (or legal age in your jurisdiction)
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Not have been previously banned from the platform
 
 
3.⁠ ⁠User Accounts
 
You are responsible for:
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity under your account
• Ensuring your information is accurate and up to date
 
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.
 
 
4.⁠ ⁠User Roles
 
Shops
• Responsible for product listings, pricing, fulfillment, and customer service
• Must ensure all products comply with applicable laws
 
Reps
• May promote products through content
• Must not engage in misleading or deceptive marketing
 
Customers
• Responsible for reviewing product details before purchasing
 
 
5.⁠ ⁠Payments & Transactions
 
• Payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe)
• Shop Society does not store payment information
• Shop Society may charge platform fees
 
⚠️ Important:
• All purchases are made directly from shops
• Shops are solely responsible for:
• Fulfillment
• Refunds
• Product quality
 
 
 6.⁠ ⁠Digital Products
• Digital products are delivered within the app
• All sales of digital products are final unless otherwise stated by the shop
• Unauthorized sharing, reproduction, or resale is strictly prohibited
 
 
7.⁠ ⁠Rep Promotions & Tracking
 
Shop Society may track:
• Clicks
• Engagement
• Purchases linked to rep content
 
We do not guarantee:
• Earnings
• Traffic
• Sales results
 
Any rewards, commissions, or contests are subject to separate rules.
 
 
8.⁠ ⁠User-Generated Content
 
You retain ownership of your content, but you grant Shop Society a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
• Display
• Distribute
• Promote
• Use your content within the platform
 
You agree NOT to post:
• Illegal content
• Copyrighted content you don’t own
• Harmful, abusive, or misleading content
 
We reserve the right to remove content at any time.
 
 
9.⁠ ⁠Prohibited Activities
 
You may NOT:
• Use the platform for illegal purposes
• Post fraudulent or misleading content
• Attempt to bypass platform fees
• Scrape, copy, or exploit platform data
• Interfere with platform functionality
 
 
10.⁠ ⁠Platform Role & Liability
 
Shop Society is a technology platform only.
 
We are not responsible for:
• Product quality or safety
• Shipping issues
• Refund disputes
• Shop or rep behavior
 
All transactions are between users.
 
 
11.⁠ ⁠Disputes Between Users
 
Disputes (including refunds, product issues, or transactions) must be resolved directly between:

Shop Society may assist at its discretion but is not obligated to intervene.
 
 
12.⁠ ⁠Account Suspension & Termination
 
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
• Violate these Terms
• Engage in harmful or fraudulent activity
• Damage the integrity of the platform
 
Termination may result in:
• Loss of access
• Removal of content
• Forfeiture of earnings (if applicable)
 
 
13.⁠ ⁠Intellectual Property
 
All platform content (excluding user content), including:
• Branding
• Features
• Design
• Technology
 
is owned by Shop Society and protected by law.
 
 
14.⁠ ⁠Privacy
 
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
 
 
15.⁠ ⁠Disclaimers
 
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
 
We do not guarantee:
• Continuous availability
• Error-free operation
• Specific results or earnings
 
 
16.⁠ ⁠Limitation of Liability
 
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
 
Shop Society shall not be liable for:
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business
• User disputes or third-party actions
 
 
17.⁠ ⁠Indemnification
 
You agree to defend and hold harmless Shop Society from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
• Your use of the platform
• Your content
• Your products or services
 
 
18.⁠ ⁠Changes to These Terms
 
We may update these Terms at any time.
 
Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated Terms.
 
 
19.⁠ ⁠Governing Law
 
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States.

21. Community Guidelines & User Conduct
 
Shop Society is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all users.
 
A. Prohibited Content
 
Users are strictly prohibited from posting, sharing, or engaging in content that includes:
• Abusive, harmful, hateful, or offensive language or behavior
• Harassment, bullying, or threats toward other users
• Inappropriate, explicit, or unlawful material
• Misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content
• Content that violates intellectual property rights
• Any activity that may harm other users or the integrity of the platform
 
 
B. Zero Tolerance Policy
 
Shop Society maintains a zero-tolerance policy for violations of these guidelines.
 
Any user found in violation may be subject to:
• Immediate removal of content
• Temporary account suspension
• Permanent account termination without notice
 
 
C. Reporting & Blocking
 
To help maintain a safe community, users have the ability to:
• Report inappropriate content or behavior
• Block other users from interacting with them
 
Reports can be submitted directly within the app or by contacting:
 
 
D. Content Review & Enforcement
• All reported content will be reviewed by our team
• We aim to review and take appropriate action within 24 hours
 
Shop Society reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary to protect the platform and its users.
 
 
E. Enforcement Discretion
 
We reserve full discretion to determine:
• What constitutes a violation
• What enforcement action is appropriate
 
Our decisions are final in matters of platform safety and integrity.
